What's the best board game/table game for giving the right hemisphere of the brain a good workout?
We like playing TOPIX, which is about association of a random range of themes with a random range of letters of the alphabet.
We find it to be not only a good 'linear' game, but also one that stimulates 'lateral thinking' - coming up with answers that are amusing, even if they are not strictly 'valid'. You have to play it to see what I mean!
The best part of the game (the bit WE enjoy most in our family of five) is deciding which of each others answers to give a point to and which ones to disallow.
This can be hilarious, but it's important to keep it lighthearted - it really is ONLY A GAME - and the object is to HAVE FUN WITH IT - not necessarily to be THE WINNER!
