do each of the nibs for a calligraphy pen need its own ink cartridge?
My calligraphy pen came with four nibs, but I can't get ink to come out of some of them. Do each of the nibs need its own ink? Why isn't the ink coming out?
one cartridge should work for any/all nibs. nibs need to be cleaned after use---particularly when removed from the main body of pen and switching them. The ink can dry and clog up the nib. There should be info with the pen on cleaning/maintenance.
if nib is clean, try just putting the cartridge with the nib and giving a gentle squeeze to the cartridge to encourage the ink to flow. or touching the edge of the nib to a very damp sponge to help ink to flow.
