How do you get a clear picture in your theme?
I was adding a slide show to my desktop background using personalize in Windows 7. I made a folder downloaded pictures and when I made it to a theme it was all not clear, the pictures had squares and the colors where messed up. It was not how it seemed in the internet.
Kinda depends: you'll need to know a few things - what format are the pictures in? Are they PNG, JPG, GIF? You can find this out by right clicking the file's icon, clicking properties, and it will show you Type of File: .Extension. For the most part, Windows 7 is much better with displaying PNG files than XP was, so I don't really foresee that being that big of a deal.
Another thing to check would be to make sure that the dimensions of the image are suitable for your monitor. Meaning, if an image is let's say 640x512, and your monitor's resolution is 1280x1024, there's going to be a significant loss in quality due to the image having to "stretch" to fit your screen.
What would really help would be a screenshot of some of the issues that you're having. You can take a screenshot of the affected area by clicking Start, use the "Search Programs and Files" box in the bottom and type in "Snip" and hit enter.
