How to hang a garland under an arch.?
I live in a cottage built in the 1920's, so hanging stuff is sort of hard. Any thoughts on how to hang a garland? Thumbtacks don't work, they pull right out..
Straighten out a wire clothes hanger. wrap the garland around it then bend it close to the shape of the arc but leave it a little larger so it will spring out and form fit the arch.
Then 1 screw hook, like a cuphook at the top, center of the arch will hold it right to the arch shape without having to use a dozen nails.
