what is the best airbrush brand and model for fine detail work?
i have used both bager,and paschee and i still am looking for that fine detail work that these brands lack.
Work it is totally on point with his answer. He always is. I just wanted to chime in with a few extras. I'm assuming that the badger and the paschee you've used were both siphon feeds. Get yourself into a good gravity feed. You'll notice a world of difference. Gravity feed guns require less working pressure. At least in my case, I found the lower the pressure the more control I have. The Iwata custom micron is pretty much the be all and end all of airbrushes. It's a bit pricey though. If cost is a concern, I'd suggest the Iwata HP-C plus. I use these as my daily drivers and I couldn't be happier. All Iwatas come with the teflon packing now, so don't worry about the solvents. Grex also makes a model that is comparable to the HP-C, but I don't know how available parts are. We're always careful with our equipment, but from time to time we do need to make repairs.
