Where can I find the value of a JB Vuillaume violin bow?
There is a photo of Jean Baptiste Vuillaume in front of the frog. The frog has been removed and an image inserted into a magnifying glass bubble. I searched the web but found no information on such an arc. My grandfather was able to find the bow back to 100 years. It was used in the Portsmouth Music Hall Ohio back in 1900. I am interested by the discovery of the value.
If they do not arc over, it could well go into the thousands. I used a bow that was worth ten thousand dollars. It really depends on the application.
