what other surgical/non-surgical procedures exist other than LASIK to correct/improve nearsightedness? a lot?
of news reports on abc, cbs, and nbc say that there are serious side effects/complications years and i mean years afterward! ive heard about something called an implant but am not sure how many alternatives other than lasik/glasses/contacts there maybe? can a eye surgeon please give me more insight on this very delicate matter!
You may want to check out ortho K. From my experience, I believe that any procedure that involves sticking a piece of plastic permanently into your eye is riskier than one that does not.
