What's the best way to pack glass items in a suitcase?
I'm currently in France and when I head back home to Canada I'm going to be bringing some glasses with me. I have 6 shot glasses, a couple beer glasses, and a martini glass. The shot glasses and the beer glasses shouldn't be too difficult, but that stupid martini glass is going to cause a bit of trouble. Any suggestions? I have some shoe boxes, but I'm worried those might get squished anyways. Any suggestions would be great

wrap each item in a thick towel or sweatshirt.... and put them in the middle of your suitcase.... not in the bottom or close to the top....... and pack other soft items in the same suitcase around the glasses like clothes or towels or blankets. and if it's possible..... put them in your carry on bag.. that way you can take care of the bag and try and keep it from getting handled roughly like the way checked baggage does.
