what temperature should kitchen cabinets be heat resistant to ?
Laminate on the front of the cabinet are shrinking due to heat from oven, what temperature should the door be able to resist this to ?

It sounds like you have RTF (Rigid Thermofoil) and your problem is not unique. This is a thin film of plastic that is applied with heat and pressure and becomes thermoplastic with more heat.
