A friend of mine wants to let out her three bedroom flat she has found tenants to move in, the problem is she?
has a tenant that is still in the single bedroom, she has already given him three weeks notice but he is telling her he needs more time to find somewhere, the new people want to rent the whole flat and want to move in on the 1st October, he only pays £60 per week inc bills she is quite comfy. She is stressing as she will have another months mortgage to pay on the 1st October this has been going on for three weeks now, but cannot let it until he goes, is there anything she can do to get him out.
Forgot to mention he was in the property when she bought it as a tenant already.

You don't say where they are, so it's hard to judge. Local law may come into play here.
She, as landlord, has set a date when the current tenent must vacate the premises. If she hasn't already, this should be in writing. At the end of that time, shehas the right (in most areas) to have him forcibly moved to the curb.
