Would it be a bad idea to plant a small silver pine tree next to a very large sycamore?
They would be 2 meters apart. Is this a bad idea?
Silver pine trees can eventually be 75 feet tall and 50 feet in diameter. Pines don't do well in the shade--they need full sun.
So, yes, it would be a poor choice to plant it closer than 25 feet from the Sycamore.
