I have a major problem with ffdshow codec pack. Can u all help?
I had once installed on my ffdshow Codec Pack laptop as I thought it might be good. But now I do not need and when I uninstall and play videos Windows Media Player, it says: "Windows Media Player can not play file.Check if a codec is available online." or something like that. But before I had installed ffdshow on my laptop all the multimedia files worked fine. Please help.
what happened to me a while ago and fix i downloaded Zoom Player MAX 600. is free not to use the testing or recording. Once you download and install open Zoom Player and right click on the screen area (where the video plays) click on "options setup" ... that extra click the Sign next to "system" ... then click "formats missing" ... and finally press the button "Start Installation Center" ... something should come up, click on selected installed. That should give you all the major codecs you need. PS: I just installed Zoom Player install center and ran today and everything went well.
