Need help with a simple painting project. (canvas/acrylics)?
OK, so I want to do a very simple project, I want to put the Team Coco logo onto a canvas. I already have a canvas & I printed out the logo & enlarged it to the size of the canvas...now what? I've only ever painted wood & terra cotta things before. (plain colors lol) I'm not even sure what to search for to find out where to go from here. Do I stencil it on in pencil? Will that erase? Any tips, please!?
Your options really depend on how confident you are with a paintbrush!
If you're pretty confident, sketch the logo onto the canvas free-hand and paint from there. If you're using acrylics, they will cover up the pencil as they're a pretty opaque paint.
If you're a little less confident, put tracing paper over the logo, and trace in pencil. Put the tracing paper on the canvas, pencil-side on the canvas and trace the line. You'll leave a print on the canvas and it'll be exactly the same as the logo itself!
