Is Technical or Professional writing a good concentration for an English major?
What kind of employment opportunities can one expect to find after graduation?
What is the average salary one can expect?
Any imput will be greatly appreciated.
If you choose one of those concentrations, you will spend your life writing tech manuals or basically editing others crappy writing. If you ever passed $30k a year you'd be lucky. Can I suggest concentration on teaching English? You can do the other stuff freelance in your free time and still have steady/easy paycheck from teaching. Freelance jobs usually pay more per job anyways.
