what's the best way to remove paint from painted over tiles? Black paint, can u believe it??
moved into a house where the tiles in the kitchen are painted over with black paint. Seriously 
The tiles underneath are very nice, but it's hell trying to scrape the paint off. Is there a chemical (that doesn't cause my hands to fall off during the night) that will strip the paint off without damaging the tiles?

Don't worry. Try what I am telling you, probably it will work. Do one thing, First of all you pour very hot water(almost boiled) onto the tiles, it will soften the paint a little bit,wipe the tiles after five minutes and then apply the thinner which you used to make the paint thin. Then rub the tile with a piece of cotton cloth. It will certainly remove the undesired paint from your tiles.
